Cookies & Local Storage
We keep this simple: actual.love uses one cookie to keep you signed in, and your browser's local storage only to remember your plan choice. No advertising cookies, no third-party analytics, no tracking across other sites.
1. The one cookie we set#

Because this cookie is strictly necessary for a service you asked for, the law does not require your consent for it, and there is no banner asking you to accept it. You can delete it at any time by signing out or clearing your browser's cookies; you will then need to sign in again.
2. Local storage#
We use your browser's local storage only to remember the plan you chose. This information stays on your device, is not sent to us for tracking, and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
3. What we do not use#
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No third-party analytics cookies.
- No cross-site tracking, pixels or fingerprinting for marketing.
4. Third parties you may encounter#
- Stripe. When you subscribe or manage your membership, you use Stripe Checkout or the Stripe billing portal on stripe.com. Stripe sets its own cookies there, for example for fraud prevention, under Stripe's privacy policy.
- Moholo avatar. Valeria's avatar is loaded in a frame from moholo.ai and rendered on your device. The audio of her voice is passed to it locally in your browser.
- Fonts. These legal pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests them from Google's servers.
5. Your controls#
Most browsers let you view and delete cookies and local storage, and block cookies altogether. If you block the al_session cookie, you will not be able to sign in. For more about how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy, or contact privacy@actual.love.
